Emergency Dentist Konstanz

Are you in pain? Then we won’t waste any time. Here’s what you need to know first:

Please call us directly: +49 (0) 7531 13010

No one should have to endure tooth pain. As your dental practice in Konstanz, we do everything possible to see you today or at least provide initial care. Our goal: to make you pain-free today.

When Should You Come Immediately?

Sometimes it’s hard to know: “Is this serious enough?” As a rule of thumb: if you find yourself asking this question, it’s better to call once too many than too few. You should definitely contact us immediately in the following cases:

^

Throbbing pain that doesn’t really go away even with medication.

^

Accidents: tooth broken, loose, or completely knocked out.

^

Post-treatment bleeding: when bleeding does not stop after a procedure.

Our advice: Don’t wait. Toothaches almost never go away on their own – the sooner we take a look, the sooner you’ll get relief.

First Aid: What You Can Do Until Your Appointment

Until you arrive at our practice, simple measures can often help:

^

Bei Schwellungen

Cooling almost always helps. Important: never place the cold pack directly on the skin—wrap it in a cloth. Avoid heat (no hot water bottles!), as it only aggravates the inflammation.

Zahn ausgeschlagen

Act quickly, and we can often save the tooth.

  • Handle the tooth by the crown only, never by the root.
  • Do not rinse or scrub it under water.
  • Keep the tooth moist during transport: ideally in a tooth rescue box (available at pharmacies) or in cold UHT milk. In an emergency, it can be stored in your own cheek pouch.
^

Schmerzmittel

Common pain relievers like ibuprofen usually help well as a temporary measure. Caution: avoid aspirin (ASA) if there is bleeding or a planned procedure, as it thins the blood too much.
